eventful easter weekend- got engaged!55
Hope you all had a lovely long weekend. Mine was rather eventful, on Saturday Dan took me to his Uncles farm for a day trip. The farm is about a 2 hours drive away from Sydney. We had a nice lunch with his Aunty and Uncle and they showed us some of the farm. We then went for a walk on our own up to the top of the hill, where the old air strip was, it overlooked the whole farm and beyond, quite an incredible view! And while we were up there, he popped the question!! Yes we got engaged!!
The following day, which was Easter Sunday, we thought the shops would be shut, but amazingly one of our fav Sydney antique stores was open and we went and picked out a lovely vintage ring.
Now that all the important people have been told, I can finally share my exciting news here!! So be warned there may be some wedding inspired posts coming up!!
The above images are of my ring (which I had re-sized and polished today!) and of Dan and I, so you know what he looks like! I only had my holga with me on the day, so no photos yet, I just hope the photos turn out as it was my first time using a holga!!
