Yes I finally got my L’s one step closer to learning to drive!! Good thing is, because I’m over 25, I don’t have to do a set amount of hours or keep a log book.  Watch out Sydney drivers!!

With Dan living out in the country, we celebrated Valentines and our 2 year anniversary [12th Feb] (do dating anniversaries actually count once your engaged??)
On Saturday, we went to a valentines formal (hence being dressed up) Dan’s brother Ben came along with us.
Then on Sunday afternoon we went to see ‘Love Never Dies‘ which was amazing!!!

If you remember I recently designed a wedding website for Rachel and Ramai , well I also get the opportunity to design their wedding invites.You can read more about it and see more photos on Rachel’s blog. I’m really enjoying designing invitations, it’s a nice break from coding websites, and its great to be part of someone’s special day!! I hope you like them.

Last week I came across this cute Japanese sock shop called ‘Tabio‘ They have such cute socks, plus its called tabio, so it must be for me!

Oh the fun of typography on a chalk board. I adore the top one!! Chalk boards and tram rolls, they are my fav things.

I came back to my desk after some breakfast, to discover my own little secretary, checking my diary.

(This is my cat portia, 15 years old, she is actually very ill and dying from kidney failure, but she still has some cheekiness in her! )

I’m excited to reveal a website I recently finished, for Rachel of in spaces between and her fiancé Ramai. After creating my own wedding website, I got the chance to make one for someone else. It’s fun and exciting to be able to create a little part of someone else’s special day! Rachel was lovely to work with, and their story is beautiful. I don’t know what it is about foreign blogs, but they can be so inspiring,  As Elisha said on twitter ‘They are sometimes the best, because they see the world differently‘

It’s so true. Different parts of the world have different aesthetics, and it is most likely because they see the world a different way, the things around them, lifestyle, culture. It is all different from our experiences. And so even though I can’t read it (but I found if you open them in Chrome it will translate the whole site for you) I feel lost in a magic world, like I have stumbled across a special treasure. Knowing I’d never have found it via google, its like finding a hidden place on the internet. Some of these I actually found via google analytics as these people had refereed to my blog and were sending traffic my way. It’s so special to know people who’s first language is not english read my blog and share it with others. The internet is an amazing place, lets not be limited by our language!

If only i had hours to spare to just pour over these…

Sodapop- A German graphic designer, who has me in her blog roll :) I found her via google analytics. She has such a lovely blog! I feel honored :) Full of fun bright colours, water colour spotches, and all sorts of lovely finds.

Ohhh…Mhhh.. – A sweet design blog, with a cute chalkboard layout. Full of lovely finds.

Griottes- Another incredible blog, so cute and unique. The sweetest little food blog.  Another blog I could just stare out for hours.

Just like honey and dear oly - These blogs (I think owned by the same person) are adorably wonderful. All the little paper bits.

Valdirose- another google analytics find.  Everything is so beautiful!

Culingraphic- A beautiful food blog, also full of food photography tips, for the photographers!

Photisserie- A magical food and photography blog, full of whimsical and a little bit quirky photos.

carnets parisiens- eek so cute!! adorable french food blog.
