Instax sydney

I was very kindly gifted with a free instax camera and film from a very kind reader. I have been trying to get the hang of the camera, taking a few shots around Sydney, its a tricky camera to always get the perfect exposure. To be honest I rather like the under exposed look with instant film, as it just dosn’t have that magic instant film feel when it is over exposed. It seems to work best when it is sunny, but not too bright and if you get some sky in the shot. It is a fun little camera, but I have to say I still prefer the images produced by the old Polaroid camera. If anyone has any instax tips, they would be greatly appreciated.

block party

I was taking some photos and thought it might be fun to play around with my scrabble dice. Just a bit of silliness, because it is the silly season after all.

Christmas baking

Well as you can see I have been busy decorating and baking ready for christmas. I always get excited about creating a theme and making lovely things for christmas. I  am going with a forest theme and using blue/turquoise as the accented colour. Oh and doilies seem to be a bit of a added theme too.  Hope you like it!  If you missed my earlier post, here are some more decoration pics.
